An intergenerational family business
Founded by Nikolas Weber in 1875, the company was run by Emile Weber and Emilie Weber-Foch after the 2nd World War, today it is lead by the Weber-Heinisch families. In the 1960s it grew rapidly under the successive management of two couples, Fernand Weber and Charlotte Weber-Mertzig, and Erny Heinisch and Colette Heinisch-Weber. On 1 January 2009, the company was reorganized in order to enable Fernand Weber, who had been in the company since 1961, to hand over some responsibilities to the new generation, including his son, Emile Weber, and his nephews, Roland Heinisch and Fernand Heinisch. The latter have been active for years in the management and decision-making within the company. The management is already supported by the new and now 6th generation.

The first travel catalogue is published.
1972
The first travel agency opened its doors in Luxembourg City.
1979
Acquisition of the first bus adapted for disabled people.

The first double-decker coach in Luxembourg.
1999
emile weber is a founding member of “Union Luxembourgeoise de Tourisme” (ULT).
2009
Inauguration of the new “Reckschléed” headquarter in Canach. In the same year, emile weber acquires the first hybrid bus in the Grand Duchy.
2012
Acquisition of Benelux Taxi, giving rise to WEBTAXI, revolutionising the taxi industry in Luxembourg.
2018
The first all-electric RGTR bus line in Luxembourg goes into service.
2021
Launch of WebCamper and motorhome rental and sales.
Creation of Travel Group Luxembourg (TGL): travel agencies Voyages Emile Weber and We love to travel join forces.
2023
emile weber presents itself with a new look thanks to a complete rebranding, paving the way for a new image as a group of companies.
